Re: Wed Nite & Thurs Morn Net Chekins [1 Attachment]

Wednesday night:  I kid you not.  I have never experienced 40m as dead as it was then.  I tuned from 7.122 mHz down to the lower band THREE times, and only heard one signal, and that was on 7.026 mHz!  Thought my rig was busted

I listened on 80m and heard bits and pieces of Terry and Paul, WA9PWP, but not good enough to attempt a QNI.  Waiting for the leaves to fall to hang a decent vertical
for 80m and 160m, using a bow and arrow.

Thursday morning.  The traffic net up 1 kHz was down from its usual 599 to 569/579.  Amazed to QNI WQ5RP who was only 449 here on peaks. TU Bill for the 559 with your extra hour's of darkness there.

Good net in spite of the sun, thanks for checking in.  It was fun, we'll have a rig night agn soon.  Maybe we can scare up some Four State rigs.   80M was in better shape than I expected Wed night, but 40 was poor this morning, or maybe just long.  Chas was the only checkin this morning, I didnt hear any other Four Staters, so if you were trying I'm sri I missed you.  Hope to hear you next week when the bands will be much better.  Making it in were:

I love this radio stuff!
