On an RV forum, someone asked, "I'm in Florida. Where should I go if a
hurricane is coming?" The best answer was, "Michigan."

We're full-timers in southern Illinois and Missouri for the next few
weeks. We'll monitor the weather, and if things are forecast to get
nasty where we are we'll forfeit our campground fees (if necessary) and
go elsewhere.

BTW, we got chased out of one campground earlier this year. About 6:00
one morning the Ranger was knocking on the door to tell us the river was
rising and they were going to close the campground by noon. When we left
at 8 the river was maybe 6" below the road and rising. The flood
eventually covered the power pedestals (about 3' tall).

Any thoughts?
Move away from the storm track.
#5 storm is nothing to fool with
It just may drop low and head for the East coast.

I'm guessing it is due to the category 5 (potentially the worst on
record) hurrican about to hit Mexico. Thoughts?
