My Elmer passed several years ago. He took my mic away and made me a CW op. He also "battered" me until I could copy with the filter between my ears. He had me so pumped up on CW I thought the 13 WPM test was slow, So they played the 20 WPM and I passed.  I do miss ole Kennie NU0Z SK
