Nate,

Get a female associate to look at the color bands. Generally their color perception is much better than for us males.
My XYL claims that my box of crayons is limited to 8 colors while hers has a full compliment of 64!

I appears the confusion is the marking on the PCB and not in the
manual. That color markings in the manual appear correct with the parts
supplied, although the "brown" band of the 470u looks more red to me.
