A lot of us have built up Pixies, variations, or Chinese Imports for use as a Pocket RX -
RS used to have a little Pocket Pager size Case, with a Battery Door, which worked nice -
I use a DPDT Center Off for Power, and to switch between 7122 and 7055 -
A Telescoping Whip on a BNC often pulls in a lot of Signals -

The Chinese Pixies make for a Cheap RX, keyword "Cheap" -
I might get a couple for frequencies, like 7060/7050 and 7040/7030 -
I wouldn't TX on it, so need need for "real" filtering ;)
