Re: Wednesday Evening 40 and 80 meter Nets - Wed, 02/24/2021 20:00-21:00 #cal-reminder

Matthew Halsey

I have tried for last few weeks to no avail. I also see post net reports saying that conditions were often poor.
Is there any chance of bringing the net earlier in the evening until conditions improve?

I like these notices, reminders, BUT I do not like how long the subject is, couldn't you make it a bit shorter by removing the redundant parts, how about:

Change:
[4SQRP] Wednesday Evening 40 and 80 meter Nets - Wed, 02/24/2021 20:00-21:00 #cal-reminder
to:
[4SQRP] Reminder: 40 and 80 meter Nets - Wed, 02/24/21 2000-2100

After all Wed. 02/24/21 2000 - 2100 says it all.

Also in the 24 hr clock no " : " is used, and the year 2021 isn't needed 21 will do but even if used it's much shorter.

[4SQRP] Reminder: 40 and 80 meter Nets - Wed, 02/24/2021 2000-2100

;-) - please forgive me for this nonsensical email.
