In further consideration of the whimsey, I also like the reminders; however, to specify time in military time format, the times, without colon demarcation, require a letter designating the time zone as in 2000S to 2100S. And then there is the question of date format as DD/MM/YY versus MM/DD/YY versus fully specifying the year in either format as YYYY. On second thought, is the / required?
I think we understand the reminder as is and one session I hope to participate!

I like these notices, reminders, BUT I do not like how long the subject is, couldn't you make it a bit shorter by removing the redundant parts, how about:
[4SQRP] Wednesday Evening 40 and 80 meter Nets - Wed, 02/24/2021 20:00-21:00 #cal-reminder
[4SQRP] Reminder: 40 and 80 meter Nets - Wed, 02/24/21 2000-2100
After all Wed. 02/24/21 2000 - 2100 says it all.
Also in the 24 hr clock no " : " is used, and the year 2021 isn't needed 21 will do but even if used it's much shorter.
[4SQRP] Reminder: 40 and 80 meter Nets - Wed, 02/24/2021 2000-2100
;-) - please forgive me for this nonsensical email.
