Thank you Jim N5IB and Jim Sheldon.. Inspired by your examples I returned to the struggle and finally figured out how to do a parameterized coil form in FreeCAD. Whew!

The point about the CPU demand of CAD applications is well-taken. FreeCAD also tends to become a bit sluggish as design complexity increases.

Hi Lloyd,

I'm CPU limited and can't run the better CAD packages like Fusion360.
So I've been using TinkerCad on-line, and it's been sufficient for most things I've needed.
With Ultimaker Cura 4.6.2 as the slicer

One day, with a better CPU, I'll move up.
