I lived in Phoenix from 1952 to 1980 then moved up by Petrified Fprest / Painted Desert 1980 to 2011.
5280' high, colder than MI in winter Hot as Phoenix in summer and you can't grow anything but tumble weeds (AKA: Russian Thistle) and Burr Clover.
Now in Lansing, MI. & love it!

About (3) Three Feet of snow here right now and my thermometer shows -6F right now!
Have Grass, Trees and (4) Four Seasons!
