Yes, that is it. Too bad the TP-41 case is no longer available. Hopefully, John can use those dimensions with another case. John, before drilling a real case, make a front and rear panel of shirt cardboard to check that the holes are properly located.

Wow! I wish I had this when I was laying out my front panel. I didn't use the Ten-Tec case, but this would have saved me from stretching a few holes with my drill so the jacks mached up. I may use this if I replace my front panel. Thanks for sharing this!

The link on the web site to the drill template doesn't work.

It was probably removed when the Ten-Tec case became unavailable.  The case only worked with the Rx anyway, not with the stack.

I've checked the files section and don't see it.

Neither did I.  It is gone.....

Could someone post or provide a working link?

I can't; I could not find the link, sorry.

SSS tomorrow night

John Lonigro

I'm really busy this weekend. Almost forgot to send a reminder. May forget the final reminder tomorrow. I definitely won't be on the air (but what's new there?)

The SSS is TOMORROW NIGHT (SUNDAY) from 7:00-9:00pm CDT. You can find all the rules at www.qrpcontest.com. Click on the 4SQRP Second Sunday Sprint to see the rules. When the contest is over, go there again to log your results. There's even room for soapbox comments, as long as you aren't too wordy (hi).

That's been my experience with all crystal switchers; short wires rule.

Jim Kortge designed a little switcher board, but hasn't released it yet?

And probably never will, since we are all done kitting SS-40HT receivers. It does work well as I have one in my main SS-40HT Rx/Tx pair and put a prototype in Marshall's receiver when was here for some work. It uses two sets of crystals though, so good for only two frequencies, not the 6 that started this thread.

Re: Loop antenna at Ozarkcon

Paul Smith

OK Thanks Tom,.
I tried a piece of wire in the square the other day with the MFJ 9232 but according to my tenna dipper it didn't tune anywhere. I still need to go to Chanute and buy so 3/8 soft drawn copper to try that.
Thanks all!

There was a loop antenna in the home brew build items that used a MFJ

any idea what the diameter of the loop was.
I didn't measure it, but it was something like 4 feet in diameter or so.
