Re: FS NE-Scaf filter

This filter is built up inside a nice compact silver metal box and will dig out the weakest CW station under these band conditions.\$50.00 shipped and any location past the mid West add $5.00 for shipping.
I also have the older MFJ 5 WATT CW rigs,40 and 20 Meters.
One has the CW filter and the other has the filter and the keyer.
Make an offer for both + shipping

AC-1 CLone, and MAgic Box

GM Sam,

Thanks for trying to check in, and FB on the AC-1 Clone.  I heard Ken working you but didn't try to break in.

If you have, or can find, a Magic Box  http://www.4sqrp.com/MagicBox.php  you will have the ideal QSK device for a separate transmitter, receiver, and favorite keyer setup.  It works like "magic".

DL3ECN clone-kit of the old Ameco AC-1, a 6V6 xtal controlled 6V6GT ( Ken-Rad
) at 4 Watts output. About 10 QSOs with it so far. I was using a K4VIZ solid
brass vertical bug last week. Now I gotta un-learn 55 years of iambic
electronic keying and/or learn to switch between them.

This Week's News This Week From N5AF:

I had a fairly good copy on NQ0RP and AF5AF both - again running the AC-1
clone at 4 Watts. After the net, I also worked WA89REI/QRP, a 4SQRP member in
Michigan. I was using a Russian Army straight key tonight.

I should have the Ozark Patrol on tomorrow.

Here in NC, 80, 40, 30 and 20 have very few signals - only the strong ones are being heard.
No wonder QRP signals are weak.
Nasty propagation devils are to blame - we need some 'angels' for field day.

Last night was a bust, 80 was poor and I couldn't hear anyone. 40M this morning was better. Making it in were Nick WA5BDU, Dale WN0NNY, and Jim KC0DD. VE7FLY made it for one exchange and then was gone.

Thanks to all hope the bands are better next week.

Ha, ha! Isn't that the truth. Only thing cheaper is a "free" DMM from Harbor Freight!

$6.95 is cheaper than any LED meter at Adafruit:

Here is my original email from April 2015:

It took over a month, but my Chinese buck converters and heat sinks finally arrived!

10 Adjustable Output Buck Converters - $11.30 (no shipping fee!)
20 Heat Sinks - $3.51 (no shipping fee!)

These are just the things to use with orphaned laptop power supplies.
