MFJ-927 remote tuner

Milan Bagel <milanb@...>

Hi... Does anyone have experience with this tuner?  I plan to use one at my home location for my extra long end fed wire and other experimental wire antennas.  They also sell an Icom remote interface cable which would plug into the back of my IC-703+ plus but it's not clear where the other end goes?  Their on line manual is no help unless I missed it somewhere  Hi Hi. There does not seem to be a input terminal on the tuner for anything but RF in thru an SO239.

Good morning all,
keep an eye on your e-mail, we're experiencing some stormy WX hereabouts. The WX
"experts" say it'll be gone by late afternoon so we'll see, but if they persist
there will not be 40m nets tonight. I'll post to QRPSpots and this list by 18:30
( local- CDT) one way or the other.

The primary of the small blue transformers is marked with a black printed "P" in the side of the part.

The primary of the larger white isolation transformer is marked with a white dot on one corner.

Two questions: parts bag was marked with (1 100ohm resistor) no 330
ohm in pack forf r6.I assume 100 substituted for 330 ohm.

the transformers primary are not marked with a dot but one side of
the end of the plastic bobin on the top side is paited black. I assume
this is the primary.

This one is a real winner.

Ozarkcon. such a neat project , had to have one when I met someone
leaving bulders workshop and looked at his.

Just what I needed for my Mst800 and Mst400 tranceivers. I plan to use
them a lot on PSK.
I hope 4sqrp makes these available in the kit offerings.

for others who didnt attend Ozarkcon the project at the builders hands
on workshop this year was a neat rig to computer interface for digital
modes.

If you still have the pieces I'll bet some JB Weld would fix that knob.

Or,  You can try looking in the parts drawers at the local radio shack and you might find a knob that will work just fine.

Yeah, it was a kind of down year for players.  We missed Keith, Cy, Jim & Kathy and a few others.

We did a little bit Friday evening late with David Cripe, David Gauding, Les K5LG and me.

Saturday I showed up late again, not realizing that the schedule showed music at 6:30 PM.  I think some people looked in early and saw nothing going on, so it never got going.  Oops!

My room-to-room QSOs were down too, but I didn't get skunked:  worked K0N on Friday evening, 7039 kHz.
