Second Sunday Sprint (finally)
John Lonigro
It's again time to apologize. Here it is the 3rd Sunday of February and I haven't posted the results for the 2nd Sunday sprint yet. I'm sure glad I don't have to do this every week. I'd still be working on 2017! The last week has been pretty busy for me, but the fact of the matter is I FORGOT!!!!
So, hoping you subscribe to the philosophy of "better late than never", here are the results for the February Second Sunday Sprint (at least it's still February): In first place this month is Carl WB0CFF, who was tied for first last month, but is now there all alone. Carl had 24 QSO points for the month. Bill KV6Z came in 2nd with 22 points and Gary KF7WNS was not far behind with 18 pts. Those three are also 1st, 2nd, and 3rd for the new year, with 57, 54, and 49 points respectively. There are a few notable additions to this month's contest. Carl AA5VE (nice call) entered the SSS for the first time as did John N9RLO. Welcome, gentlemen. Hope to see entries for you two frequently from now on. Carl will receive his 1st place February certificate in the mail shortly. Until next month (if I remember), 72, John, AA0VE 4SQRP Contest Coordinator

Kits update
New to the 4SQRP kit offerings, the SSB Mite ! The SSB-MITE, designed by David Cripe NMØS, is a high-performing SSB filter capable of being added to nearly any receiver. The SSB-MITE uses simple analog signal-processing circuitry to provide highly effective audio filtering from a simple circuit. It is designed to be very versatile, have low parts count, be inexpensive, yet provide outstanding performance. This is a flexible design that can be used as a stand-alone unit driving headphones, earbuds, or speakers, or it can be easily integrated into an existing receiver needing additional filtering. http://www.4sqrp.com/ssbmite.php The SSCPO (Super Simple Code Practice Oscillator) is back in inventory. http://www.4sqrp.com/sscpo.php AND a shameless plug for getting yourself registered for OzarkCon! Vendor/Swap tables are going fast and the Builder's Workshop seats are filling!! You would not want to miss out!!! See you there...... 73, Walter Dufrain - K5EST Four State QRP Group = http://www.4sqrp.com/ Twitter for 4SQRP... @4sqrpGroup Kit Mgr .. kitmgr4sqrp@... Ozarkcon Coordinator .. ozarkconcoordinator@...

80 was a little thin tonight also!
Check in’s were:

Signals were pretty weak, and QSB was strong, not a good combination.
Hope next week is better!
