End Fed Wave.... as in end fed full wave antenna??  Why? Because it doesn't need to be cut/spliced to use on lower band.. as in 160.

That was cool being called from DX he needed my T for his C award. He got several others before the band folded up.

Will see U all in Branson in a few days. I have some gear a dummy load and my trusty 5 dollar 5 minute EFW packed up and ready.

Anybody volunteer to answer some questions on my Ozark Patrol? The lower band seems kinda dead and the regen is not as active as on the higher band. I really don’t think there is a problem with the upper band. Do I need more feedback on the lower band? Less gimmick capacitance? I have tried it direct without the gimmick and it is overwhelmed with signal.

If the kit building session is in the 3rd Building, as it has been in the past, you will most likely need an umbrella and probably a coat too, when walking to/from the 3rd Building for the Kit Building Session.

They will be stationary and their retrieval will not require you to be in an unsafe situation.

The oscillators are set to approximately 7116.59 kHz and 7120.96 kHz. They switch on for about 1.5 seconds and off for about the same amount of time. You will be able to hear them with your cw receiver. (Actually it’s possible to “hear” them with just a portable AM shortwave receiver but during the ‘on’ time they will just quiet your AM receiver and you won’t get the nice CW note without a BFO). I’ll let them run until someone finds them or until I have to leave on Sunday. There were several DF antenna ideas offered on our reflector last year but I'm having trouble locating them. If you offered an antenna idea last year, you might consider re-posting it or referencing your message number - thanks.
