I called a couple of days ago and got Terry WA0ITP. He was the first piggie QSO, though I've had several other non-piggie responses to my CQs.

If you want to find out if your piggie is getting out, check the Reverse Beacon Network for your callsign after calling CQ. Hopefully you'll see a number of stations with your s/n ratio. If that all looks good, well I guess your pig is being ignored!

LT SPICE circuit draw and simulate program DOWNLOAD

Phil Anderson

Hi Guys,

After my XPS-420 "crash", I ordered and am finishing installing software in my new OPTIPLEX (DESKTOP) 7010 from DELL. The process has gone a bit slow in that I did not keep good records! Please, for your sake, take a moment soon! to jot down your ID and password plus registration keys for all of your key programs and back up files on a schedule! I added a WD USB supported backup drive to save all my files on a schedule.

One of the programs I've used at least once a week is still available free as a download from Linear Technology; it is called LTspice and allows you to draw circuit schematics, save and/or print them, and simulate the circuit, showing calculations, signal traces, and frequency responses (and freq content)!

Documentation is reasonable but it takes a bit of time to learn. You can download LTspice from www.linear.com and then go to tools to find the LTspice IV download. Download is very quick. It installed AOK on Windows 7 and I had previously used it on Windows Vista home edition too.

And maybe a QRP rig on the tractor? A new type of /m operation?
Years back I used a 2m radio and then HTs in the tractor. Fact is that
since we went to no-till out there I just don't spend the long hours in
the seat that I used to. When I do spend time it might be running the
big round baler and it keeps me very busy, so I just listen to tunes or
whatever.

Or at least you can think about QRP while you are doing real work.
I suppose although I was thinking about other aspects of the project. I
tend to get focused on the task at hand most times. ;-)
