Hi YAF,

I don't know anything about your kit; but, it occurred to me a couple of
weeks ago that running SKYPE on your computer and having a ham buddy who
also runs that audio/visual system would go far in helping with
debugging. I suspect being able to see your assembly (or any other kit)
might speed up the process, given that the other ham has already built
that kit. It would be like sitting next to you and both looking at the
assembly.

Uncle Phil; just my two cents. My XYL has SKYPE so maybe I ought to try
it, hi. 72!

Yup, CNC machine. They have been really commonplace in the custom
motorcycle/car business. Many parts are now available as CNC machined
parts carved out of aluminum billet material.

Actually he's been there for quite a few years; I stumbled across it
the same way, by seeing the location. I made my first eBay purchase
from him in March 2006.

I didn't see the rock bottom deals, online, as he still has through mail-in. I think I'll employ both manners of purchase. shawnr kf7yff

Thank's for posting this, Nate. I took the plunge and became a backer ( well aware of the risks ). Hopefully around September I will be able to give a report...
