I guess that I’ll have to wait until I get back to Florida to get back on the Nets....... at night here at the campground the noise level is an S8 with higher spikes....... all the beach spots close at 9pm.

Just to follow up on Rick's comments I will be the other half of the Fox hunt on Thursday. I will be using my TS-570s at 5 Watts into a 3 element beam facing west but will switch to OCF dipole and/or vertical.
Hoping the weather cooperates

July SSS Results
John Lonigro
There were 10 participants in the July SSS, including first-timer Dick Thompson, K2HT, from Wellsville, MO. Welcome Dick.
The winner for July was Chas, W2SH, with 19 QSO points, followed by Carl, WB0CFF with 14 points. Chas is also leading for the year, with 108 cumulative points. Carl is in 2nd place with 94 cumulative points. Now that we are slightly beyond the halfway point for 2019, Nick, WB5BKL, has his work cut out for him if he wants to win the annual prize. Nick has 60 points total and is currently in third place. He'd better not look in his rearview mirror because both Gary KF7WNS and John K4BAI are right behind him, both within striking distance. Chas will receive his July certificate via e-mail shortly, as soon as I create it. 72 until next month, John, AA0VE 4SQRP Contest Coordinator

Re: Ozark Banner Special Edition
Thank you, Keith, very nice FD edition! The WX was sure a big player in dampening many FD outings and HamOuts this year.

Send in your score
John Lonigro
Don't forget to enter your score by COB today, so I can tabulate everything tomorrow.
If you make a mistake entering your score, there's a way to correct it yourself, using the information in the email you got after submission. If you lost that information, then the score cannot be corrected. 72, John, AA0VE 4SQRP Contest Coordinator
