Hi All,

My daughter and family live in Norman, just south of Moore. They are fine; talked to them not long ago by text; there phone and cell not working right now. We pray for the children in Moore, OK.

Pat and I came back from Dayton today and had to stop at Booneville, MO as a dark storm there with heavy rain crossed I-70 at NS Hwy 65. It then cleared and we made it home about 2 PM.

Tough day for some out there. Uncle Phil

We had a tornado warning with storm sirens going off here about 5 PM. I
closed the shop early and headed across the street to my sister-in-law's
house to get into the basement. Luckily there were no tornadoes or high
winds.

Donald Kelly

Yesterday, a tornado touched down about a mile east of me in Edmond, OK and moved further east through less populated areas.

The neighborhood had no apparent damage though I believe a nearly finished hospital was damaged.

Today’s tornado was just a few miles south of me when I was at work. My brother lives in Moore, OK just north of the path the tornado cut through the city.

The area is densely populated residential areas. I was unable to contact him until a short time ago. The roads are blocked by debris or restricted for 1st responders.

My bro watched it from his front yard. He knows he is very lucky.

I feel for the Moore folks who have lost children. It is the second such devastating storm for Moore.

The storms will continue for a several weeks. I hope you all will be safe no matter where you are.

Lots of trees down and some structure damage in and around the town of Seneca, not aware of any injuries at this time. I think that it was a severe thunderstorm, however a tornado was spotted near Wyandotte, OK which about is about 12 miles west of Seneca.

I live out in the country and all OK with a few limbs down and a few shingles gone.

Re: FDIM Requests

Johnny AC0BQ

Ge Guys:
First of all I would LOVE to be able to order a hat or 2 or 3??
I thought about having some make up for Ozarkcon just as a keep sake.
The Original white ones are neat, but they are hard to keep clean for Field Day etc.
If we could strike a deal with one of the hat vendors to put our logo on them with our name and or call sign, I'm in!!
The Tee shirts are cool, I wear a FISTS shirt while hanging out in the shop, but I am not sure the stocking of all the sizes would be very lucrative.
There again, maybe we could hit one of the shirt vendors that would cut us a deal on "our design" and print them as they get the orders?
The Cafe press folks might jump at the change?
Just my 2 cents worth.
Thanks 72

It will take me a few days to begin bagging them, but they're almost ready to

of this group buy was to provide pigrig owners a way to check into Wayne's net
and participate in club qso's on 7122. I have more sets than needed so when the
original requestors sets are mailed, I'll announce the remaining qty in case
others would like a set also.

On a different but related note, Dave's new Cyclone 40 sold well at FDIM and
received much interest. Thanks to strong last minute efforts by Dave and Dan,
KB9JLO, we had 21 kits to sell at the club table on vendor and and club nights
(Thurs and Fri). As soon as Dan can catch up and kit more of them, sales will
be opened up and an announcment made on the reflector. If you was Dave's
presentation at Ocon, you know that this is an exciting and innovative design.
It received many oohs and ahhs from expert perusers at FDIM. Look for it to be
availble fpor general sales in a few weeks. The Cyclone tunes the whole 125 kc
segment of the 40M band, covering the lower QRP freq and DX watering holes, as
well as 7122 for club activities.

Good stuff going on at Four State, stay tuned ...

Why do I need two Pig Rigs? Pig Rig #33 has worked 20 some odd states and 3 countries. I would like to get 44.00 for the kit #76 which is what I paid Diz. I placed a order with Terry for the 7122 crystals so you can get them from Terry when they come in if you want them. Postage will be 4.00. I also have an unassembled SW-40+ with the connectors/control kit. Everything needed except the cabinet. Doesn't look like I'll ever get around to building it. Would like to get 75.00 for it which includes the postage. Thanks!
