Skeeter Hunt 2021 over?
Not by a long shot! First, thanks to all who particpated. YOU make this event the fun time that it is! Many thanks, for without you, the Skeeter Hunt would be nothing, I hope each one of you had as good a time as I did. Now it's log summary time. I don't need ADIF or Cabrillo logging files. Just send me an e-mail with something that looks like this: Larry - W2LJ - NJ Two important items: 1)Log summaries are due two weeks from today, by the end of the day of Sunday August 29th. The Scoreboard will be posted sometime on Monday, August 30th. Usually, it's Labor Day, but the calendar is weird this year. 2) You will receive a "thank you" e-mail within a day or two (48 hours) after you've sent me your summary. IF YOU DON'T GET AN E-MAIL BACK FROM ME - I DID NOT RECEIVE YOUR SUMMARY. KEEP TRYING UNTIL YOU GET A CONFIRMATION FROM ME! Thanks again. Soapbox webpages and certificates will soon follow after the Scoreboard is published. Larry W2LJ - Skeeter # 13

Skeetr Hunt 2021 TODAY!
The NJQRP Skeeter Hunt roster for 2021 is closed - thanks to all 250 of you who signed up. Have fun, but above all be safe and don't take any chances with risky weather situations or risky operating conditions. You can still join the Hunt without a Skeeter number, just give your output power as your part of the exchange. Remember that if you're going to claim the post to social media for your 100 point bonus, you must include your call sign and the hashtag #skeeterhunt or #SkeeterHunt in the post, and indicate on your log summary submission that you did that. Lastly, all log summaries must be e-mailed to w2lj@... within two weeks. The Skeeter Scoreboard will be posted (God willing and the creek don't rise) sometime on Labor Day. Log summary instructions are simple, just follow the directions on the webpage. If you still have questions, send an e-mail. Have fun and good hunting! Larry W2LJ - Skeeter # 13

Don, I also have a copy of that Allied book, but I could not bring myself to taking it apart to scan it. Attached is a photo of the copyright page of mine. Copyright

Not sure about the contents of the .mht files... I’m intrigued at the “AlliedCalculator.mht” file name. Suspect it has the slide rule images you’re referring to? Anyone that’s an adept file wrangler that could perhaps convert that file to .PDF? Hope so! Jeff

THANKS
Thank You to all the members who have ordered my antenna book. Today I found a couple old relics that are no longer available. They are still useful for old timers as well as those new to ham radio. ' I offer them for all to use. Perhaps they will be useful to homebrewers and if(when) the internet goes down as suggested by some sources. Perhaps someone will have the technology to reproduce the slide rule on plastic and make it available. I used an empty cereal box, kids school glue and a box knife to cut out the pieces. Cutting the openings will require a steady hand. Use in health. Dr. Don W4BWS
God Bless All "Basic Wire Antennas" for $5 sent to my email address via paypal friends. More info at https://www.qrz.com/db/W4BWS

Re: [DigitalFM] Tonight's Delta Mike Romeo Net
3102 doesn’t show up in the list; so I switched to 3103 and am back online… See this site, scroll to the US servers. At the moment only 3103 and 3104 show up:
