Welcome to a fun and fascinating aspect of the hobby. It kept me away from wild women and bars for much of my life. My wife of 48 years is ever grateful. After I sold my DX 40 back in the 1960s the Heath Company came out with the HW7 series and then TenTec came out with their Argonaut series. Tried 2 watts and then 5 watts and never looked back. Had just as much fun. But I do remember as a Novice tuning the pi network on the DX 40 until the plates on the 6146 glowed thinking that the few extra watts out would make a difference. They DID in my mind only. What fun! Dave K8WPE since 1960 (the glory days of radio for me). David J. Wilcox’s iPad

FB Randy. Against everyone's advice I started with QRP as a new Ham a couple years ago. It has been great, as I improve my understanding and gear the rewards are amazing. Weak signals are addicting.

I have 2 2nd Generation Unbuilt kits still in the boxes unopened 1 was #2 and the other was #45. I also have 2 Soup-er Up-er's in the box unopened. I also have 2 Vernier dials and 2 wooden cases. The cases are not from Hobby Lobby as I could not get them at the time but these Have Handles Clasps attached. they measure 9 1/4 by 5 7/8 inside dimension. I would like to sell each of the sets which would include the Bayou, Souper up-er case, and Dial for 165.00 I will split the shipping. I would bore you with my medical problem but age and medical issues prevent me from building any longer. If interested you can email me directly at k0amd@... if you like or through the group. I do not want to split the grouping up want to sell each one as a set so to speak.

Re: pricing for Soup er Up er
I just purchased a new bayou jumper kit for $98.00 and I'm looking for a Soup'er Up'er. I'm not sure what they cost but just the Hi-Per Mite filter is $28.00.
If you have one, I would really be interested it. Just name your price. I really love to build these little kits.

Re: pricing for Soup er Up er
Are the vernier dials the eccentric tuning type used on the original paraset? If so, I’m interested. Maybe a picture? ken.bauer@.... Thanks!

Re: pricing for Soup er Up er
Hello Thomas The Bayou jumpers sell for about 90.00 on the kit page. This price is without the vernier or the box. I think the Souper upper is about $40.00 to 45.00. The Souper uppers should be in high demand right now, we’re waiting on parts to restock. Good luck with the sale. 72 Johnny ACØBQ

pricing for Soup er Up er
Thomas Martin
I have some kits that I want to offer for sale and I see from the website the Soup er Uper is no longer available was wondering what is sold for when I bought it. My health has declined and I have a hard time working with my hands any longer. They don't seem to shake in sync so to speak. I have 2 snd generation Bayou jumpers, 2 cases 2 vernier dials. If I can get a price I will place them on the group email. Thanks in advance for your help. Tom k0amd

QRP Items for sale
Ge group While these aren't our kits they are qrp items and more related to test tools than radios. So here goes. I have a dds 60 kit unbuilt from AMqrp via Midnight design solutions. It is a dds signal generator. I would take $50.00 for it shipped to the US. These are pricey on their web page. I also have a Scalar Net Analyzer kit that Includes a dds 60 module. It has an upgrade kit that was sent to me, and everything to build it including the enclosure. It's still in packages. I would take 125.00 for this plus 7.50 shipping. This was also sold by midnight design. Their web page says they are sold out. I'm open to reasonable offers and or trades. What have you got???? keys, small rigs, unfinished kits? Drop me a private reply if interested. Thanks 72 Johnny AC0BQ -- 72
