Re: RTF looks ok in black font
It looked to me like the extra stuff was in words that had things like
apostrophes and things?
So I colored "didn't" green or was it O'le Y'eller maybe... :-) At 02:13 PM 9/11/2013, you wrote: Express and didn't care for it. Chuck Carpenter, W5USJ

Terry, I read my mail online off of Yahoo! Mail. No problems for me! A few color options thrown in for good measure. I only used Outlook when I was in the work force. Tried Thunderbird and Express and didn't care for it. Whatever .... ![]()

If the message is in rtf format, I see a large first line and vy small subsequent lines. The additional lines are also wide spaced. It sure makes reading emails exasperating. This seems to have happened with the new Yahoo changes. Plain text looks fine. This occurs with all Yahoo groups, not just Four State. If no one else is seeing it, I'll keep looking for some setting speciific to my situation. TIA for any info. ---------------------------------- Real radios weigh less than a pound. Terry,
My email seems just fine. I am using Chrome browser and I assume the mail service that comes with it. I do use "gmail" on my laptop to keep that email sort of separate from the email I get on this machine. Both machines are Macs which might also make a difference. I do belong to a "bunch" of yahoo groups but since my recent operation find that I spend much less time at the computer so I couldn't make a reliable evaluation of home messages show up on any but this one. Hope you find your problem, it's small problems like this one that make these computers a pain in the neck. Looking forward to seeing everyone at Brutus. cu es 72, Bart W0IIT Pittsburg, KS 4Sqrp = #72, FP= #11, ARS=#568, SKCC=1139, NAQCC=#588 FIST=#5819, Zombie=#500, Geritol=#1000(from back when I actually had a mic connected to my rig:-)
