SSS This Evening 7 - 9 Central
WA0ITP
Below are the rules for the Sprint tonight, from Mssg #2679
toggle quoted messageShow quoted text
The gist is: "Exchange - club member number or None if non-member. You may want to give RST and your club number." I'm gonna send "RST nr 38 bk" and call "CQ 4S" . Walter wants the reports sent to spike55@outlook.com They only need to include the number of contacts made and the mode. Hope to cu on the air and work a bunch tonight. 72 4State QRP 2nd Sunday Sprints August 11th ... 7 to 9 PM (cdst) any mode and band, except WARC & 60 mtrs, no NCS, 5 watts maximum output regardless of mode. The Sprint keeps the keys, mics, and keyboards active and collect the valuable QSO contacts that are needed to achieve the W25 awards. <http://www.4sqrp.com/ActivityRecognition.php> Suggested calling idea is.....CQ 4S....and obtain the stations 4SQRP number for W25 awards. Please stop by the 7.122 MHz group hang-out frequency to allow the crystal bound stations to have fun, also! Also some folks have not changed their Pig Rig from 7.030.7 MHz. We have yet to have a SSB or digital entry, there is room for everyone! Exchange, club member number or None if non-member. You may want to give RST and your club number. There is more at stake than the W25 awards, the most QSO contacts station by October 1st, 2013, wins the club callsign WQ5RP for the October 4x4 Sprint. (in case of a tie of QSOs, then we shall draw a winner). With a massive multiplier attached, this may be the most coveted contact in your logbook for the 4x4 Sprint! Reporting is easy.....send me an email to spike55@... Put SPRINT in the subject line then in the text body, indicate your number of QSO contacts and what mode. ---------------------------------- Real radios weigh less than a pound. Terry,
On my Mac the notes and all the other text looks great. However several things extended out of the colored box---Walter's call down in the text box where he thanks folks for joining in the sprint. Rather than switching back and forth with computers( have three running right now on my desk, if you count my Samsung phone) I am just going to load windows on this Mac and be done with it. That way I can run all my logging programs etc. without switching between machines. cu es 72, Bart W0IIT Pittsburg, KS 4Sqrp = #72, FP= #11, ARS=#568, SKCC=1139, NAQCC=#588 FIST=#5819, Zombie=#500, Geratol=#1000

I can read both Bart's and Terry's forms on Linux (Mint and Libre Office) here, although Terry's new form keeps everything inside the lines. No problems that I can see. 73, Dave W0CH Go Chiefs!

"Some folks had trouble with an Apple computer and the
reporting form. We may need to change the reporting form." That would be me. What does it do to the form?? I can send future results from a Windows machine. Can't remember if we can send attachment or not. Just wonder if folks running Windows or Linux can read the attachment, if it is allowed??

OT: Wired & Tested 4SLink for Sale
Need to create some space on my desk for several new Vibroplex key additions to the collection so I'll try again with a price drop.
Wired & Tested 4S Link with a modification so that standard, off-the shelf 1/8" stereo cables can be used for the rigs that have the microphone audio on the TIP and PTT on the RING of the connector (most of them) instead of having to make one up.
Included is a printed copy of the manual to include both the original schematic and one showing the TIP and RING swap on the TRANSCEIVER MIC/PTT jack, J3.
Was asking $40 shipped, will drop this to $35 shipped anywhere in the US.
Cash, USPS money order or PayPal accepted.
Email off list if you're interested please.

Re: WTB need t-50-2 etc

I think you can still order them from Amidon Associates; look em up on the web. I know I have some T-50-2s in a drawer but out of town right now in Oklahoma, nice day here, helping put in a winter garden at grandkids. They are putting a cover on the beds that is removable during the day if sun gets too hot. Should hold the garden through most if not all of the winder this far south on some stuff. Garden QRP!
If you can't find any ferrites by next Tuesday email me, I'll be back in Lawrence, and can see what I have in my drawers.....pretty sure I have some of both....and a lot of other types.
