The convention is FREE for all to attend. In addition there is NO
parking fee. We are even giving away at the Opening Ceremony on
Saturday morning an HF transceiver! A ticket will be given to everyone
attending the Opening Ceremony at NO CHARGE. The drawing will occur at
the end of the ceremony. The winner MUST be present to win.
(Convention committee members are not eligible to win any of the
prizes). In addition, hourly prizes will be drawn during the day on
Saturday and there will be a grand prize drawing at the end of the day
on Saturday.

Our vendor attendees continues to grow. We have major vendors
attending; YAESU, ICOM, KENWOOD, MFJ, FlexRadio, and many others to
numerous to mention. In addition we have many Public Service
organizations displaying their equipment.

The Youth Forum on Saturday will be fantastic. Carole Perry will be
leading the forum along with Astronaut Nagel who will be attending and
participating with Carole. We are encouraging everyone to bring
children. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for children.

Bob Heil and Ham Nation will be broadcasting live on Friday evening with
special guests attending. This should be very exciting! In addition,
Astronaut Nagel will be presenting on Friday evening!

The forum schedule is really fantastic! We kick it off on Friday with
Bruce K0BJ's presentation Friday afternoon. On Saturday all day, you
will see in the attachment a well balanced forum agenda that will have
something for everyone attending. Here are subject examples of what I
am talking about: DXing, Contesting, Technical, Public Service, and
Youth.

W1AW/0 will be in full HF operation and there will be opportunities for
guest operators with very nice certificates awarded. k0og@...
<mailto:k0og@...> is
coordinating this activity.

There is plenty of room outside for the flea market attendees so spread
the word! There is NO charge to tailgate and sell in the outside flea
market area. We will have an inside flea market area for those who want
to sell their ham items inside. There is a $10 per table charge.
K1USA@... <mailto:K1USA@...> is coordinating this activity
along with the outside flea
market area.

Thank you as always for your continued support of the convention. It is
just a short time until the Convention. Please help us and spread the
word!

If anyone has any questions please have them contact me.

Terry,

On my Mac the notes and all the other text looks great. However several things extended out of the colored box---Walter's call down in the text box where he thanks folks for joining in the sprint.

Rather than switching back and forth with computers( have three running right now on my desk, if you count my Samsung phone) I am just going to load windows on this Mac and be done with it. That way I can run all my logging programs etc. without switching between machines.

Here's the latest version. Pse let me know if it reads and looks ok. Let me
know if the notes aren't clear and I'll revise it until they are. Otherwise
I'll send it to Dave, and also upload it to the files section.

tnx

Hi folks:

I can read both Bart's and Terry's forms on Linux (Mint and Libre Office) here, although Terry's new form keeps everything inside the lines.

No problems that I can see.

That would be me. What does it do to the form??

I can send future results from a Windows machine.

Can't remember if we can send attachment or not. Just wonder if folks running Windows or Linux can read the attachment, if it is allowed??

I opened and read the spread sheet. The formatting had the information on line 12 wxtending just slightly out of both sides of the yellow field and line 14 extended slightly out of the left side of the yellow field. Walter Dufrain's call sign was cut off after K5 on line 23. I'm sending a screen print to Bart since he is the one who asked.

I'm using Linux and Libre Office.

OT: Wired & Tested 4SLink for Sale

Jim Sheldon

Need to create some space on my desk for several new Vibroplex key additions to the collection so I'll try again with a price drop.

Wired & Tested 4S Link with a modification so that standard, off-the shelf 1/8" stereo cables can be used for the rigs that have the microphone audio on the TIP and PTT on the RING of the connector (most of them) instead of having to make one up.

Included is a printed copy of the manual to include both the original schematic and one showing the TIP and RING swap on the TRANSCEIVER MIC/PTT jack, J3.

Was asking $40 shipped, will drop this to $35 shipped anywhere in the US.

Cash, USPS money order or PayPal accepted.

Email off list if you're interested please.

I know I have some T-50-2s in a drawer but out of town right now in Oklahoma, nice

day here, helping put in a winter garden at grandkids. They are putting a

cover on the beds that is removable during the day if sun gets too hot. Should

hold the garden through most if not all of the winder this far south on some stuff. Garden QRP!

If  you can't find any ferrites by next Tuesday email me, I'll be back in Lawrence, and can see

what I have in my drawers.....pretty sure I have some of both....and a lot of other

types.
