Welcome to the 4S QRP group. I am sure we have worked many times down through the years, I have ran the CW circuit of Fists, SKCC and the like, as I am sure most of us here have. There is one thing for sure, this is by FAR the friendliest and helpful group you will ever join up with!! Most us us are active builders, some operate more than others, but most of all we all love QRP and have a lot of fun doing it! 72 from SE Ks Johnny AC0BQ, ex KC0PRV

I am living proof of that! Just joking about the 5 watts, I think they recommend about half power but I am not sure .

I signed up for the first build session
- I'm looking forward to building this one - I've been trying to
decide what to use for digital modes on my FT-817 when I go
camping this summer - this, along with my laptop with FLDigi
installed, should work quite nicely. Speaking of which, how many have experience running digital modes with the 817? Where do you usually keep your power out? I know a lot of the 817's have had final transistors go in the past, and would *like* to avoid that! Looking forward to seeing all of you at Ozarkcon - WA6CML called and made our hotel reservations today! Jeremy, N9PH (ex-KE0MD) Iola, KS

We'll reserve 40 kits for the build session and also have some to sell at our table in the Knights room. The build session price is $25. The show special price at the table is $35, and the final internet price will be a little higher yet. I believe we have 20 signed up for the build session so far, so sign up if you wish. http://www.ozarkcon.com/BuildingWorkshop2013.html ---------------------------------- I love this radio stuff ! 72 WAITP www.wa0itp.com www.4sqrp.com www.qrpspots.com

irrigation tubing in the 4 state area ? I live in Northeast Oklahoma , 1/2 mile

RMR net report 2-28

Hey.. the band is open.. usable.. we had checkins from AZ-PA-M)-GA-CA-WA...
all we needed was a FL to go corner to corner across the country.. but we near did it. And we had one or more listening too.. there are folks that just listen.. to get better too. I must mention that this is the first outing for my Profii II proto that Mr Shurr was making when he became a SK. Just finished the base, and it is ready to go. Now all I need is a spell checker for my fingers. Thank you all for checking in... the 80F from Ca.. was nice... 32 in Pa, and many stations reporting snow on the ground now. AF9W - KA2QPG - KA4RUR - KG0YR - W3HZZ - KE6OIO - AD7BP all made it in.. sorry if I missed anyone, and I have another thought to ask about.. for next Tues... since the holidays are over... about to begin.. or somewhere in the middle... what is your fav recipe? What is your fav dish to eat? Second.. and now you know the rest of the story .... can you write it down on a QSL for me? or email it to me please? Tell me what it is on Tuesday.. Thursday.. and if you have more than one.. that's fine too. mmm mmm good... I can tell already. Yes.. I will share.. .... I'm thinking a RMR Net Cookbook... sprinkled with recipes.. and qrp stories... like the one that could be told about operating from St. Simons Island.... with 5w and a dipole. ... or ?? See you next week... Have a great day, --... ...-- Dale - WC7S in Wy

Today, BransonMissouri is marking the one year anniversary of the tornado that did somuch damage there, just weeks before our OzarkCon 2012 event.

I see that we have QSO'd a couple times over the past 8 years (man, time sure flies). You did get a 4SQRP number when you joined this group - just no one probably told you what it was. At least that was my case. It will show up here: http://www.4sqrp.com/w25.php at some point I think (it is not there at this moment). Hope to hear you on the air - 7030+/- or somewhere. 73/72 Mike - wb9dlc http;//wb9dlc.com
