It's not next door to me (191 miles) but I see no problems going there for Saturday at least. I hope to see some of you there and I'm looking forward to a lunch or dinner get together. I'll have to use my private slush fund as I'm currently unemployed and attending school so money is tight.

Any recommended inexpensive hotels/motels? The Best Western looks OK and that is about as much as I can afford and leave a little something for the Hamfest. I'm free on Friday so I rather go on Friday morning and stay until Saturday and make it a mini vacation.

Hope to see everyone there.

drawing, but that don't look like there would be a lot of interest
in that, as most are leaving

to head home right after the drawing, or even before the drawing.

. Mike NF0N and I are staying the night and leaving in the morning
as its about a 7 hour drive for me, and Mike has another hour and

Another thought would be the lunch time frame.

So, I thought I would put out feelers to see if there would be
interest in that.. maybe a

couple of blocks from the convention site, at the Dairy Queen or one
of the others in the

local area.. ??? Anyone interested? Please post! Maybe we can
still get something organized.

My ears are giving me fits and CW sounds like a rock

Sprint this coming Sunday night, please feel free to
send me the number of contacts and mode to

and put Sprint in the Subject line. Need the results
by Tuesday night after the Sprint so they can be

RMRc 14.0625 - 2300z

Dale Putnam

Tues... a great brand new day... right? Well.. ok.. new day in REGULAR time.. and that means our RMRc net will be meeting at2300z, so please drop by and practice your cw skills at your speed. You can use a straight key or paddle or bug. I have a new antenna, that may help a bit.. and I am also trying to get another one repaired, wx permitting. This is a sponsered net by the NAQCC, however the intent is cw practice, therefore, if band conditions allow, we'll run qrp, if not..I will run a bit more power. The practice is for cw.. not weak signal. You may use qrp,.. because I don't mind weak signal practice, and I also want to practice my cw... if you have checked in, you know exactly why. IF you don't hear me on 14.0625, you may want to try on 7.0625 at 2345z if the 20 m net runs past 45, I'll try to get to 40 as quick as possible. We have two nets to practice on... and that is to allow as many as possible to practice. Someone said that we don't do anything, and to respond
to that, I would like to practice with the exchange of station descriptions.. and oh yes.. and... because we are getting close to Thanksgiving.. what is your all time favorite dessert for Thanksgiving dinner?
See you Tuesday afternoon/evening.

Have a great day,
