It feels REALLY GOOD, doesn't it.

I wonder how long they'd last in a contest if they could only use one 12V battery to power their 100W rig !!!

I guess most people don't think because it's too tedious for them!
What I like about naps is, I can get them done while I'm sleeping.
If they can, they do; without thinking if they should.

We had 8 hearty checkings on Tuesday, and some of them were on 40 too.
Will be looking to compare temps with you today... let's see who has the coldest to report, ok?

And it is warming right up here... up one degree since sunrise.

The 40m net meets at 2345z on 70625, see you then.

See you this afternoon.

Heard W5XE and K4QQ here in Tulsa on the early net with only a whisper from, presumably, Johnny. Not strong enough to even attempt to check-in. Guess I should have tried. On the late net, only the "whisperer"....40 was long indeed! Had ol' #52 Cyclone 40 warmed up on the battery, ready to go to the dance but got "stood up" by the ionospheric gods. We'll try again next week.
