For those who don't know the station here is:

Swedish pump st key and regular cans.
With this antenna running only a few watts I never cease to be amazed.

Last call for 2014 GQRP subs in time for the Spring Sprat

Tony Fishpool

The copy for the Spring Sprat is now with the printers and I will be
emailing the distribution list at close of business today. If you have been
meaning to renew your subs then please go to our paypal web page.

Choose the UK, EU and DX rate that applies to you www.gqrp.com/paypal.htm
http://www.gqrp.com/paypal.htm

Please do not extend your membership beyond the end of 2015 otherwise your
money will be refunded minus paypal admin costs. If you aren't sure whether
you have already paid for 2014 then feel free to email me to check.

Finally, I've been asked this twice recently so I will explain about club
membership. Your subscription entitles you to membership and comes with all
the benefits such as the Sprat magazine and access to club sales, technical
advice and our QSL bureaux. If you don't have a current subscription then
you aren't a member.

This means that if you are of the persuasion who likes to include
affiliations on QSL cards and email footers, then that's between you and
your conscience if your membership expires.

Kind regards
Tony G4WIF

I was a 207X1 in the USAF from 1989 to 1993, so I'd be happy to swap
stories with you. I don't know how many other hams attending were
military radio ops, but this list is the place to ask.

Unfortunately the wx has kept me out of the shack because of work - sigh.  I think all of my antennas are up, but no time to pump any RF into them.

Hopefully spring will be here soon.  And hopefully without any flooding either because that means more hours of work also.

I hope everyone's antennas survived.

Luckily (if you can call getting winter weather lucky) here we only got
already frozen sleet one night, then snow another night, so no freezing
precipitation on the wires.

FS: FCC1 and FCC2

WA0ITP

I've decided to sell a Norcal FCC1 and FCC2 combo that I've had on the shelf for
several years. I have another DDS project in the works and won't need these.
Here are the Norcal pages for more info http://www.norcalqrp.org/fcc1.htm
http://norcalqrp.org/fcc2.htm The manuals are included on a CD.

These were built by Bruce Beford N1RX who built them. Bruce is an outstanding
builder and these items reflect his skills. The kits retailed for $80 total,
I'm asking $60 shipped anywhere in the US. DX hams pse email for shipping
costs. If you are intertested in them, pse respond off list.

These are a popular DDS VFO and counter combo and I wanted to give Four Staters
the first chance at them. Thank you for considering.
