SSS is tomorrow evening!

The Second Sunday Sprint is tomorrow, 7:00 - 9:00 PM CDT. Don't forget! If you've misplaced the rules, they are posted on 4SQRP.COM, under "4SQRP On Air Activities". And they haven't changed since last month.

Also, if you have trouble making contacts after 8:00, it could be band conditions OR it could really be 9:00 and you forgot to "spring ahead" (hi)!

Good luck in the contest (and check your smoke alarm batteries)!

PS: I worked about 90 stations during the ARRL DX contest ~4 weeks ago but must confess that
I used 50 watts while those on the other side of the pond had 500 to 1000 watts and beams!
My little 3/4 wavelength vertical with radials did just fine!

My inbox for eQSL is stuffed full with 49 countries workded......Nearly all of the contacts
were on 10-meters and some on 15. It was quite a morning.

Walter,

Another GREAT issue of  “The Banner”!!!  Really liked the front cover.  I wonder
how many 4Staters have actually operated tractor mobile?  Although it was 2
meter FM, I have done /T.  On my old stomping grounds in NW OK many of the hams
were farmers or as in my case worked for farmers, so it wasn’t unusual to have a
/T come up on a repeater.  In fact some even checked into nets and even on
occasion would check into storm watch nets.  I am sure that situation was common
in other areas of the Four States.

Walter you are due another —  Thank You and Job Well done!!!!

Looking forward to OzarkCon and the issue of “The Banner” coming out of
