To those who did not know... got into very bad auto accident Aug 5, main
problem is left forearm (dominant one). Hoping for skin graph in week or
so. Constant pain Hard typing. Otherwise, thank seat belt for no other
serious injuries. Car is definitely totalled, no doubt about it.

I go to surgeon on Tuesday afternoon for check. Meanwhile nice daily
home health nurse comes by to torture me by changing dressing (not
really, they are good!). In case you sent me email in past month, sorry
for not answering. It may be a while yet.

Good news: I use right hand for ham code (CW) keying! It is fine. Not
sure yet on left hand recovery, but looks promising.

Hope you have a successful recovery. As my son and bride can attest, Drs can do amazing things these days.

Re: Seeking retired 4sqrp Kit -- HAM CAN

John Lonigro

Ken:

I looked online and I think I can easily fit the hamcan radio in one of their flat rate boxes for $6.00.  I believe the actual ham can will fit as well.  So if you are interested, I can sell you the complete, but not working, ham can radio for $8.00, postage included.

So if you are interested, I'll dust off the radio and get it to you, complete with instructions, once I receive a check.  Otherwise, I might still dust it off but will otherwise put it away for a hamfest some time.

John AA0VE
