On that same topic, a telephone museum opened up recently in the St. Louis area. It traces the 150 year history of phones. They have a phone booth exhibit, but I'm pretty sure it wasn't

The dial phone is an original, and probably fairly early model 500 Western Electric phone. The touchtone is a model 1500. They are likely of some small, at least sentimental value for a collector.

Here in NC, 80, 40, 30 and 20 have very few signals - only the strong ones are being heard.
No wonder QRP signals are weak.
Nasty propagation devils are to blame - we need some 'angels' for field

I also always listen on 7122 but seldom hear anyone that could hear me. The spacewx site says we are near the minimum and it could last a while..... crap!
