I received mine about three weeks ago from MCM. I went the cheap route

Once upon a time I fired up an Argonaut on 15 meter SSB and answered a
CQ from Florida (I'm in Michigan). That guy was running a full legal
limit amp turned right up. He gave me a five nine

I am not up to speed on those PIs either so I went and looked at their
web site. I think you are right about the B model being the one to get.
The prices I saw were $35 for that compared

Tonight I was talking to a station down in Texas and sent that I was running 5 watts. His next exchange was "r r ok Dan did you say 5 watts ?".

I am not up to speed on these Raspberry Pi's . I have seen them mentioned on other groups , plus an article on one hams web page that was using his as a transmitter . Same ham that wrote the QST

RP's are awesome. There is a great bunch if us on Twitter!
My Pi is not hooked up yet to any rigs. The HDMI output will look great on a big screen TV:-)

Hey I heard u good job. The PRC is a pack radio Vietnam nam era and before. Rock bound I believe. I have worked him before. He uses a short loaded whip and a drag wire. It probably helps when he is
