Re: 40m Net
And,
Did not hear the 80 meter net being called at all, but did have a nice QSO with KB4QQJ in NC, 599 both ways. My HB-1B to Randy’s KX3.

Re: DMR NET
Wayne,
Are you using the Code Plug Manager that came with the radio? If so, here are the basics.
Make a copy of what is actually on the radio as a starting point and save it. Anytone recommends

Yes, David. My friend Mike, W8NWA had trouble with 3108. That server is considered “experimental” by Brandmeister and it can be squirrelly. I have stopped using it because I had too many

Charles, thank you so much for that information. I will save and use it for opportunities I have in the future. I just found out in talking with a ham friend that our repeater does not accept talk

Re: DMR NET
Wayne,
I do suggest contacting the repeater keeper and at least asking if they will add 31654 to the allowable list. I think they CAN add Brandmeister TGs to the repeater list, but it’s a question

Re: DMR NET
They can mapped between BM and C-Bridged repeaters. Also both show 9990 as a parrot, but C-bridges are group calls and BM is a private call.

ARRL Field Day 2019
Would there be any interest in making a serious QRP Field Day effort for 2019? Any discussion on this?

Re: DMR Net
I heard conversations on the 4SQRP Talkgroup when I was listening to other talkgroups, such as TAC 310. Could this be that I had the 4SQRP channel set to Slot 2?

Re: DMR Net
Check to see if your radio is in promiscuous mode. If it is, it will hear anything that comes through. Or at least that’s my guess on this. Hotspot or repeater? If it’s a hotspot, try dropping

My QSO with Randy KB4QQJ was right on 3564 kHz, 0233 to 0237Z. Hoping for others to jump in, but it didn’t happen.

"If it’s a hotspot, try dropping the static connection to 31654 before listening elsewhere"
The above is from a previous message. I DO use a hotspot, but how do I drop the static connection?
