Our friends in the UK seem to like the term 'battery' better. Although 'piles' is understood in Britain, one must be specific to call it a Voltaic Pile otherwise the conversation gets a mite

Unfortunately, the hole through cladding connects the top of the board to the bottom of the board, in three cases.
Those in particular are critical to have continuity. The others not so much just

I'm posting this so you dont spend continue to look for the IHAB9 Beacon on
14.323.
The launch was at 1500z and the beacon worked well until 1553z when it developed
a chirp, then it failed at

IHAB 9 LAunCh Update
The launch took place at 9AM CST as planned. The CW beacon is working well I
have it at abt 569 on 14.323.5. The GPS isnt working at this point in the
flight, so there is no tracking available.
