Phil,
First you should physically verify that the wire is indeed connected to the utility ground wire outside. If it is, then you can use it to connect your shack ground.

LOOKING FOR INFORMED OPINION ON STATION GROUNDING PROCEDURE(S)
Hey guys,
Getting ready to sheet rock my shack in the basement - to keep it warmer - and pondering how best to provide a safety ground, i.e. electrical ground. Of course, want to wire the ground

Speaking of lentils, I'm reminded of the story told to me by my wife about her sister when they were teenagers. One day her sister read about a lentil diet and asked her mother to buy a large amount

Re: Wayne's spy radio qso on youtube!
Great Video! I'm collecting parts for a paraset. I have the front panel, key, and inductor form
I have not decided yet if I will build in a metal enclosure (cash box) or build a wood enclosure only

Hello,
I have one also, along with a second transmitter I got when Fair
Radio Sales was selling them. You don't have to dust them off since they are
waterproof! I will send the exact tag info later.
