I just checked the Rules and the times are 7 to 9 pm CST Or CDST. That is which ever time is in effect at that time of year. I will post my operating Freq on qrpspots.com hope to work you.

Hi John,Ok I forgot about the need for SSB. The cheap HT has it's place for repeaters but not SSB. I did the MOD on my Alinco SR8 that keeps the rig down to 3-4 watts a bit low for SSB.

Another note on the KX3's 2 meter add on. If you really need a bit more power on 2 SSB/CW, there have been some little Italian made all mode 2 meter amplifiers available in the past on eBay that work
