Re: 80 m Tuesday night net!
I am glad to be straightened out. I read the earlier post and asked Toodles what day it is. I was confused. Since I retired I don't consult the calendar or clock..... C u all tomorrow night.

SOMETHING TO LOOK FORWARD TO
There are 316 days to go until the next OzarkCon.
If you find that a tad depressing - cheer up - there IS something to look forward to that is a lot closer -
The Wednesday Night Nets start in 24

Hi Michael,
I have a Small Wonders Lab SW-40 PSK for 20 meters. It IS a SSB transceiver with an xtal oscillator where a VFO might be in other transceivers. I don't think those are

Re: Really dumb crystal question
Greetings Doc,
As for homebrew/kit I know of the Beach 40 which is DSB. I have seen it in 17, 20, 40, and 80 meter. I am actually building one myself right now and documenting the build on my website.

Re: Loopy
My Alex loop has been a real pleasure for in the shack and portable operations.
One thing I suggest is a non-metallic little stand for setting up portable. PVC small pipe and a 3/4" short dowel rod

I will second the idea of an Elecraft K2. I have used several QRP radios, the MFJ-90X0 series, SW-40+, a TenTec Scout, and more but I wanted a QRP radio to set on my small desk. I wanted all band,
