I have tried most of the usual sources but to no avail. Any help, advice or suggestions on this one would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Ian K3HQL

Oops. It is labeled as above, but on further review, the stamped frequency on the Bliley electric tag is 3548.4 kc. Sorry for false alarm.

One to go...
Wayne Dillon
Once again I find myself indebted to the generosity of spirit of the members of the 4SQRP Group. last evening Sam (AL7V) gave me AK. He was a genuine 559 into SE Kansas, a distance of about 2300 miles from Juneau Alaska. His signal positively rolled down hill into Columbus while mine struggled uphill to Juneau but we made the exchange. A huge thank you Sam for your time and effort. he suggested that I listen later on 30m but I gotta tell ya Sam, from where I was sitting 30m was a Zoo!
I had to give Sam the "full gallon" i.e. 5 watts but the deed is done. Now just RI to go....

Re: Big Brutus Outing Sept 13, 14
Jeremy Utley
During the hours the visitor’s center is open, water and bathrooms are available from there. After hours, they have some very primitive “pit” toilets available at the far end of the parking lot, not sure about water after hours, but I know myself I usually bring along a full case of bottled water, and usually have more than enough to share with others. It’s a lot of fun, I’ve attended the last 2 years now.

Re: More on the Hawaii qso
Yup, Lloyd had super ears there. I needed Hawaii to get the last state for 160 meter QRP CW WAS and ran a sked with him. He stayed up late his time to make the sked and he had no problem hearing my 5 watts from the KX3 on 160. It was about 6 a.m. here and I think around 1 a.m. there. It's a good thing I had a sked with him as the pileup on him just after we worked was horrendous.
I have KH6LC in my log for just about every contest I've ever been in as well so he's extremely active and a heck of a nice guy.

More on the Hawaii qso
Wayne Dillon
Well I just downloaded my confirmed contacts from LOTW and I see that Lloyd (KH6LC) has confirmed our QSO, YEAH!!! I looked at his web site and It's not surprising he managed to copy me, I recon with that antenna set-up he could probably hear a gnat fart off the coast of Maine in a Noreaster! quite some set-up.
I e-mailed Sam re an Alaska QSO, just need someone in RI, anyone??? By the way, I had to give Lloyd the "full Gallon" (5 watts) but we made it. He really is a super operator. Shame I couldn't claim 1KMPW but hey, it's in the log at 5 watts.

Way to go Wayne.................I just got my last state, ND, couple of weeks ago
but must admit it was with 80 watts. I don't think the 80 watts helped much though. Alaska, SD and ND were the tough ones for me. If you have not tried it yet, consider watching for the contests that occur nearly every weekend that are often specific to a state..........good way to find folks. Again, congratulations. See you at Ozcon 2015! Unc Phil, W0XI
