I had a similar situation, wondering when I'd get the meeting information. Looking back to the day I registered, I saw that I received an email from Ozarkcon, giving the meeting number and password. I suggest you check your archives for the day you registered. You will probably see the confirmation from Ozarkcon with all the requisite information. If you can't remember when you registered, look for an email from Ozarkcon. Hope this helps. Everyone: Don't forget the special Ozarkcon edition of the Second Sunday Sprint tomorrow evening, 7:00-9:00 pm CDT. 72, John, AA0VE 4SQRP Contest Coordinator

This is a reminder that Ozarkcon 2021 will take place tomorrow via Zoom. The event will take place at 8:30 central time. Re: Bayou Jumper Spot and RX
Hi, Jim. I appreciate your input and the suggestions. I've been away from the project for a few days for a "cooling off" period (and, of course, dealing with the Real World). I'll try those tips out and report back. Application for membership in the BayouJumperKit group made; I looked for the group, but, being as the group name is run together like that, a search for it turned up nothing. Tnx agn for the suggestions. More to follow. 72, Ted Justice will not come (to Athens) until those who are not injured are as indignant as those who are injured. Thucydides

Hi Ted, If you haven't already, join the Bayou Jumper Group at https://4sqrp.groups.io/g/BayouJumperKit Lots of discussion specific to the BJ operation, troubleshooting, mods, etc, going on over there. This current batch of MPF-102 transistors used as the regen detector don't seem to perform as well for the spotting function as the older parts. The "crystal-across-the-antenna" does work but the effect is subtle and the trick is to tune quickly across the crystal frequency. If you tune slow and careful you won't hear it. The "Ultimate Solution" is http://www.4sqrp.com/crystal_spotter.php Where on the BJ dial do you hear your HF rig on dummy load? If the BJ is hearing CW then the detector is oscillating. Can you tell where on the REGEN dial the detector goes in and out of oscillation? Have you installed C31 yet? Are you using a short piece of wire from your station receiver run over close to the BJ? I find I have to pass that wire right under the PC board (no electrical connection made) to couple a good strong signal into the monitor receiver. ***don't accidentally tap the key of the HF rig while that wire is there... you'll really hurt the BJ's feelings :^)) If you wish, you can post you reply over on the BJ Group. Other builders can profit from the discussion. 73 Jim, N5IB

Hi Bert, You had the call mostly right. Joe here, WA4GIR in Apex North Carolina. Conditions last night were not the best so perfectly understandable that the 4 got mistaken as a 3, and then whose to say I sent it correctly. I also attempted to check into the 80m net but never heard it. That was surprising because I almost always hear Chas, W2SH here in NC on our 80m KnightLites net, but did not hear his QNI last night. Thanks for allowing me to participate in your net. It is interesting to me to experience nighttime propagation on 40 and 80m. joe ==============

Might be a smidge early for the AZ propagation, heard you several times at near 599, but dropped out as you were sending the N(0)? May try again in a little bit. Thanks for being there. -Roger N0RSR

Not a single CW signal heard on last night's 40m net...zilch, nada. SSB from somewhere was prevalent. Called but no response. At 0130Z the static crashes were terrible, thunder and lightning. Obviously, no check-in to either net. 73 and hope to C'Ya next Wednesday evening n4mj//glenn “PLEASE REMOVE all email addresses before you send it on and use BCC option when forwarding" Thank you!
