Yeah, I got it to use with my Radio Shack DX-394 which is a receiver only.

That is a receiver-only tuner so don’t try transmitting through it.

I suspect you merely adjust all the knobs for maximum noise.

The current model has a “C” after it and only 4 knobs, but I would expect the manual to be quite similar.

It is an older model with the old style cream colored cabinet with fake wood-grain sides, 5 knobs straight across in a row, and no meter.

I googled it but found no manual and checked Manual.man but he didn't list that model

Good evening, fellow QRP'ers.  Slimming down my collection of keys and bugs and found this one tucked away. It is a Vibroplex Original Standard version, SN 65294 which places it's birthdate some where around 1998. It is still in it's original Vibroplex shipping box with all the original paperwork.

Just a regular Vibroplex but all shiny and new like.  Put some pictures in an album (titled 'Vibroplex')which I will erase in a week or two. More pictures available - just drop me an email.  Price: $160 with shipping included.

Thanks for looking.  73  Bob Groh, WA2CKY

Re: 30 Meter Cricket

Ron,
Also, Rich Kennedy (at expandedspectrum systems.com) not only sells the 10.106 & 10.110 MHz crystals (among many other frequencies) that you include with the 30 meter Cricket kits, he also sells them in bulk orders of 100 or more.  So, you don't have to spring for a thousand of them which would be far in excess of you needs for the Cricket kits.

There needs to be at least 28 mm (1.1") clearance from the bottom surface of the front panel board to the inside  surface of the bottom of the box. The PC boards are 1.6mm (0.063") thick

And you need about  20 mm (0.8")  from the top surface of the front panel to the inside surface of the top of the box.
