Re: Boatanchor ID help
Too bad this one was in such terrible shape. It would have been nice to restore it and build a new wooden case for it.

W0O
GE folks:
W0O is 599 strong here in SW Missouri. Don't think he is QRP, but my 5 watts to a wet wire got him easily on 7038.
I'm now parked on 3538 waiting for him to show up later.

Re: W0O
Loud indeed.
Just worked him at 2119 hours EDT. Kent was 589 in NJ. Think I'll see if he shows up later on 80m.
Look up WØO on QRZ for details.

Re: Wednesday evening nets
WB5STS/M was 569 in NJ, both during the net and slightly before while in QSO with NV9X, also 569 here. WA8PGE was 599 plus 5dB here.
QRN levels were high here as a wet weather front approached. I

Yes, K5QNM (Gary - Gainesville, MO) and I plan to be there at least on Saturday morning starting maybe 8 or 9 a.m. and probably leaving well before the grand prize drawing.

Any 4S-QRP going to the MW convention?
Hi Group,
Thought I would ask if any of the 4S-QRP group is going to the ARRL midwest convention in Lebanon next week? And is there anything planned, such a 4SQRP "eye ball"
QSO party over

Re: Boatanchor ID help
I think Tom should plug it in and see if it still works (hi).
My grandfather had a nice Zenith set similar to that one. My brother didn't like the looks of it, took out the guts, put it
