Thanks for that Jim. Weird that they designed it that way! I think I'll change the rig so I can use "normal" cables.

I use Google Hangouts all the time for work. As a remote employee, we do daily hangouts to colloborate with other members of the team. It's a really nice tool!

If you have a webcam and a microphone on your computer all you have to do is add members to your circles on G+ and when one of those members is online the same time as your are you can choose to start

Yup, I'm using one. It's straightforward except for one glitch. The MIC/PTT jack is wired backwards for the KX3 so you can't use a commercially wired stereo cable between the 4SLink and

A rover in Wyoming has been in hear pretty solid last couple of hours . He is working a TX station right now . Worked TX , ND and MT earlier on my G5RV at 30 feet .

Only hearing mostly very weak sigs with QSB here at my QTH in NTX all morning.
Of course my "wet noodle" 3-element quad is only about 8 ft off the ground and fixed pointed east.

SIX METERS OPEN
Six meters is wide open here , both short and long . A good day for a "wet noodle" antenna . Some hard to get grids and states very loud and active right now . Put whatever you have on 6 , tune around

great it is at 75 wpm isnt it. I use mine a lot, but can't even carry on a
conversation with myself at 15 wpm.
