Darryl,
I would be interested in learning a little more about your 205 ft center fed with the 9:1 balun. Would you mind sharing some information?
Thank you,

I was up in MN so I went to operate CW for a couple of hours with a local club. QRO only, no phones, no computer interface, so it was slow going. Wish I could have gotten out for some QRP operation.

The reflector seems is pretty quiet these days, especially with FD acitvity. Did anyone work FD this year with the club call? I didn't operate due to conflicts for my time, but I suspect that

Sideband QRP Frequencies and SSS
The Second Sunday Sprints are NOT CW only, although that may be a surprise to many. I don't believe there have been any sideband QSOs made to date in that contest. Obviously, you can't use 7.122 or

Fine on your QRP SSB project - it would have been better as a new topic.
A decent sized community is using a different rig on SSB called a BIT-X. I remember using my 10 watt K2 for a lot of

Hi Wayne,
Does anyone at 4sqrp. use Ssb qrp? I am building a KN-Q7A 40m. Finished the receiver section which works very well when there is propagation.

Again -- Cricket Transceiver mods
Cricket people,
Here is a further Cricket mod with KC9ON's 4 crystal switch. It works acceptable but with varied powers 1/4 to 1 watt. The one watt is the default tall 3579 crystal.

Hello Paul and the group.
I missed the 7:30 roll call!
I got on shortly after that and called Qrl

I ended up talking to DARRYL KK5IB AND W3NP.
We enjoyed solid QSO exchanges!
So 40 is still
