My apologies, thinking of the wrong CW contest. CQ WW CW is the last weekend in Nov.
Give me a break, turned 76 yesterday:-)
Have fun in the Sweepstakes, have not played in that one for years.

Nate:
Thanks. That's what I get for extrapolating backwards in time. The change must have been before 1994 because I went from Tech to Tech+ that year and the expiration date

Consensus is to choose two digits and report them consistently. The
ARRL will not be checking that part of the exchange for accuracy. What
they do look for are busted callsigns and improperly copied

Phil:
I believe it's the last two digits of the year in which you were first licensed, not the year you got your current call. What you should do, since you renew every 10

I think it's when you were first licensed as opposed to first issue on the call.

HOW DO I FIND THE LAST TWO DIGITS OF THE YEAR MY CALLSIGN WAS FIRST ISSUED? E GADS!!!
Hi!
Seems that the CW sweepstakes this weekend requires five different items in the message....a challenge.
I know 4 of the 5 but don't recall the last two digits of the year I was issued w0xi.

Re: Tonight's 40m net
The only sig I could copy was NUØS at a healthy 569/579. I called him a couple of times because he seemed to be also accepting QNIs, but he didn't hear me.

Re: QTH move
Doc,
Put up what you can and enjoy it. I have a friend that has worked 35 states with an HW 8 and PFR 3 loading up his slider door screens. They didn't like long wires on his golf course either.
