Re: K5JNX Email
Nice to chat briefly with you this morning Terry. Also heard the K5 calling several times with no response either. Could be a receiver issue...

Re: Coverter fun
Rick, This means a ton of TNT is equivalent to just a bit more than 1000 kilowatt-hours, which I can buy from the power company for only about 100 dollars.
Seems like a rather small amount of energy

Re: Coverter fun
I particularly like Kyle's conversions for tons of TNT. He is missing a conversion that relates to QRP operation, so I had to take it one step further. So 1 ton of TNT is about 1.16 million watt

Hello,
I saved this in several folders for future reference, although I am somewhat disappointed that it left out the most important unit of measure of distance to landowners in Texas, the vara.

Terry,
Thanks for the links to some useful conversion solutions.
Here's one I like when I'm putting circuits together and figuring out what they might be / should be doing...

7122 in the mornings
Just had nice QSO's with Bart and Phil on 7122, and I had a pipeline to both of
them. Their signals were over S-9. 40 in the morning is a vy nice band. Quiet
and good propagation out to about 600
