Re: Blind CW Trainer
You might check with The Federation for The Blind learning aids and HandiHams as a start =) A blind Ham I know uses "JAWS" screen" reader with his computer to do things with his home computer =) I will ask the local Ham I know is blind what he suggest to help out ( he too does CW and had to learn it blind =)

Re: Oak Hills QRP Classic manual
Chuck, Thanks again for all the help with this. I collect old QRP rigs and when I find one I try to obtain all the manual and even others comments and problem solutions for that one..... helps me figure out how they work and fix problems if they occur. Dave K8WPE

Thanks so much!!!
If I can do you a favor some time please let me know.
Even Oak Hills doesn't have this as I have asked, but Em said
it was before he took over the company.

Cannot Attend OzarkCon
Dale Holloway, K4EQ
My wife and I have attended OzarkCon the past two years. We've had a wonderful time and have made many new friends. The QRP community is great! Unfortunately, due to more surgery this past week, we won't be able to attend this year. We will miss everybody, but trust you will have the greatest OzarkCon yet, We'll be with you in spirit. Blessings to all.

Re: $2.00 Bills
w2sh@...
In July 1945 my mom prepared to journey to France to be reunited with her husband who had been missing since October 1942 when he was arrested by the foreign occupiers and shipped off as slave labor to Germany. The $100 she took consisted of 50 $2.00 bills, that being the only U.S. paper currency missing from all the counterfeit bills printed by the Germans that flooded countries that had been occupied. Paris banks accepted these in exchange for bona fide francs.

If you find a 1943 copper penny, they are worth well over 100,000 dollars.

Blind CW Trainer
I have a blind ham friend who wants to do self instruction of CW as his hearing is getting too poor for SSB. He has a talking computer, talking iPod, and an Icom 756 Pro with a "talker". Does anyone know of any stand alone trainer or computer trainer that he could use? Something simple, but easily changed with commands for the blind? I have a few training aids that I have used but making changes for different parts of the program do not tell a blind person where they are in the program like he needs. Thank you. Dave K8WPE
