30 Meter Cricket
Any idea when the 30 meter Cricket may again be available? Is there a list where a potential buyer can commit to buy one when they come back?

Re: My apologies
For the life of me I don't know what I did or said that was wrong, but the thread about that old QST project got removed, so I must have stepped one some toes. In a most innocent manner I was just trying to get some information about it, if it would still be usable under current FCC standards, and was it worth building. I didn't even have a circuit for it and didn't have a copy of the 39 year old QST that had the project in it.
Anyhoo, even though it was not a commercial kit by some other source, not 4SQRP, it still cannot be mentioned on here. Please don't ask me any questions about my station, because I have some non-4SQRP rigs and cannot name them on here.

New revB Bayou Jumper on the air
Jim, N5IB
Tomorrow (2 Jan) from 1500Z 'till 1559Z I will be one of the SKCC's K3Y special event operators
operating as K3Y/5 on probably 40, 30, and maybe 20 depending on propagation. I'll be running 50+ watts with an old TS-430S But........ During the preceding hour (1400Z to 1459Z) I will try try to put a revB Bayou Jumper beta build on the air at about 7020.1 kHz. As you may have read in earlier messages, The 'Jumper is coming back! This is one of the beta kits - just completed and checked out. 73 and Happy New Year Jim, N5IB

My apologies
I didn't think I had done anything wrong when I sought information for something which was not a commercial product, but rather a QRP transmitter circuit published in QST 39 years ago. True there was a circuit board that I had which was made by a company which no longer exists and I had a bunch of components which were made by companies which may or may not still exist.
Since it related to a non-commercial old-time QST project, I don't know what I did wrong to get my query deleted...I am hesitant to ask anything about QRP equipment unless it is something sold by 4SQRP, as I don't understand what I did wrong and am afraid to talk about any QRP circuit which is not for a 4SQRP product. Re: Knobs and more
Hello Dave, Paul Happy New Year. I was impressed with the array of colors! They wouldn’t look very good on a radio but they are bright! 72 Johnny ACØBQ

Hi Paul- and Happy New year! The various high-end knobs are likely manufactured by Kilo Corp. Digikey and Mouser carry a bewildering array of choices. They're all in the $6-$7 ballpark, so they're not cheap. 73- Dave, K1SWL

Wow!
They have all the guitar/ amp/ mixer knobs we used to stock as a
servicer of music electronics!
And the black Gotoh knurled dome knob on page 2 makes a perfect replacement
tuning knob for little rigs like my Youkits HB-1B! Out with plastic, in with
solid aluminum!

Re: Happy New Year
2020- wow, what a year. My Happy New Years wish is for 2021 to be much better for everyone. My special thanks to all who ordered my e-book. Prior to covid-19 I procured my breathing medicine for $10 to $20 a month. With all the travel and shipping limitations due to covid I am forced to procure the meds in the USA at $98 a month. Your orders have assisted that without cutting my food budget. Hopefully that will continue in 2021. See more at QRZ.com /db/W4BWS So Happy New Year 2021 and for all to have a more healthy, secure and prosperous 2021. I will be looking for everyone on slow key night December 31 and during January 1. 72/73 Dr. Don W4BWS SKCC # 81C Dr. Don W4BWS
