I heard nothing on 40m except for tail end of a wannabe QNI that gave a FL address. I wondered if the skip was extra long to receive FL but not the 4S heartland. Thern a strong digital signal QRM'd the 7.120-7.122 mHz spread. QRT for me.
On 80m I was only able to copy QNIers WA9PWP and WBØCFF. I tried to QNI, but the NCS only acknowledged me with three "agns" and finally a "sri". So I quit.

Re: How do I get to the 4sqrp Store?
EuGene,
Instead of looking for "Store," think "Shop" instead. There are two links right near the top of the main page which read "Shop Four State QRP Kits" and "Shop Four State QRP Apparel." Bright red in color too. Once you see them you'll wonder how you missed 'em :-) 72, Jeff N0̸MII -- Jeff N0̷MII

Funny that the SSCPO topic should crop up.
I just finished a little surface mount version of Dave's circuit. Decreasing the value of the resistors in series with the speaker and it performs quite nicely on 3 V from a pair of AA cells. Adequate volume, but not loud enough to annoy parents........ important because..... It's tucked into a key I 3-D printed for my grand daughter Tessa, who just turned 3 this week. You might recall a photo I posted a few weeks back of her trying her hand at the Brown Bothers paddles on my K2. Now she can have a key of her own. A roller-lever microswitch is hidden under the trunion, and there's provision to bring out a connection to actually key a tranmitter .... one day.... Photos are attached. 73 Jim, N5IB

How do I get to the 4sqrp Store?
I bought the little QRP antenna tuner kit from the 4sqrp Store, and wanted to go back to the store and see what other goodies they have to offer, but when I look at the list of things on the left side of my screen (from Home, Chats, Photos, etc. down to Wiki (whatever that is) at the bottom, a was thoroughly confused that the Store is not listed. Is that to keep the store private so non-members can't go there...OK, then, how do members get to the store?
I do not recall how I got to the store when I bought the tuner, and did not think to bookmark the address, so that' why I am asking for help now. EuGene Smith, KA5NLY/QRP P.S. Moderator, please consider add ing the 4sqrp Store to the list of options on the left of the screen to help us dummies go shopping there.

Re: 4SQRP Tuner
Hello Dan You may have received a switch that’s Not the correct one. We should probably send you another ploy Varicon. That one sounds questionable. Email me direct with your shipping info please. Thanks Johnny ACØBQ

I will second Dan. I had one of my caps go bad and you could see the fins buckling up. I suspect yours may either buckle in the future or may be starting to know. The 4SQRP guys are real good about replacing any parts that are not working/bad.
Good luck.

Dan,
1 - My 4SQRP Tuner has a DPDT toggle switch. I suspect your switch
was supplied due to a parts supply issue with the original switch.
2 - Doesn’t sound good. Make sure the polyvaricon mounting screws
aren’t too long, then they might be pressing on the end of the cap plates.
Sounds like a recipe for failure!

Note on the SSCPO: big improvement in sound
Just as an FYI for any other builders - the sound output and quality improve quite a bit if the unit is just tilted up a bit at the back or mounted a 1/2" or so off the table. Apparently lots of good stuff coming off the back of the speaker which is lost with the SSCPO just sitting on it's little feet. Bob Groh, WA2CKY

Randy Cooley
If anyone has an unbuilt bayou jumper kit that they would like to sell, i I'm interested in purchasing it. If you have a Soup-er-upper kit, I'm interesting in purchasing that too. You can reply back to me at Kc9utm@....
Thanks, Randy
