Re: Hamvention
That would be nice. Right on scenic highway 35 and 15 miles closer to home. Also 15 miles further from Dayton’s decay. The 20 minute drive from Dayton’s hotels is probably shorter than what I do from hotel to HARA. Ken ke4rg

That was sure a long time ago! I noticed that the URL for the first meeting report on the W0CH domain is no longer valid. The old meeting archives have been preserved on the 4SQRP web site and the first meeting report is located at: http://www.4sqrp.com/archive/april02/april2002.htm Walter, thank you for the blog. Excellent job! 73, Dave W0CH

We had 10 QRP'ers in attendance, plus two spouses and one son. Not too bad for our first get-together. The record for the greatest distance traveled goes to Rick Clem, W0IS who drove here from St. Paul, Minnesota. Guess the word is out that Barney's Kitchen serves a pretty good lunch! After lunch, we adjourned to the city park for some on-the-air fun. Dennis Foster, KK5PY demonstrated a couple of neat portable antennas and a FT-817 set-up. You just probably added a few
competitors to your bidding process, it better to get it then show
it off. Unfortunately not everyone is honorable.
