Re: OzarkCon
w0mna74@...
FYI,
I just made my Ozarkcon hotel reservations and the person on the phone didn't have a clue when I told her I was going to be there for the Ozarkcon event. After several delays I was passed to the hotel manager and he asked if I was meaning the Four State QRP event.
I told him yes and then we had no problem making the reservation. He said he would inform the front desk people to be aware of the Ozarkcon event and associate it with 4SQRP. You might want to mention you're with the 4SQRP when you make your reservation just to avoid confusion.
See you at Ozarkcon,

Congratulations on working W1AW/2 through huge SSB pileup! Worked him at 0450z on 3.528MHz. CW QRP with no pileup. Hard for me to believe, also. 73, Lou N8LA

Thanks for the update, Terry! I just
did my reservation! Looks like the StoneCastle has finally gotten
with the times and is allowing online reservations - at least I
couldn't find the online reservation thing last year! I did note
on the special notes section that we were there for OzarkCon!
Can't wait to know more about what all will be happening this
year! If there's anything I can do to help you guys out, let me
know! Jeremy, NQ0M Iola

Arnie et al,
We're deep into the preps. The speaker lineup
has been set, banquet preps are underway, and we have a Saturday surprise
for attendees. We are planning to open preregistation in a couple weeks.
Rest assured that there is a flurry of activity going on behind the scenes, as
usual. The announcement is a little premature and another one thats more
in depth will be made a bit later.
As to room reservations, they can be made anytime.
Make yours by calling the Stonecastle direct at their desk number
417-335-4700 or 800-677-6906. Be sure to mention
OzarkCon.
This years conference is shaping up to be one of the
very best.
Hope to see you all in Branson on April 4th and
5th.

Mornin' Terry, Now I don't feel so bad about being at work! Just looked at the 40m band on DXMAPS.com and it is all a bit sparse, the folks out on the west coast are doing some trade, they are still in the gray line but the rest of the lower 40... very little.
Have a grand day es God Bless de Wayne - KC0PMH

Enjoy the beautiful sunny day ! Good thing the antenna is still up...... saves you from going outside and suffering through the beautiful day !! Keep the heat turned up and the water running. To bad you are a QRP op., otherwise the linear would help keep the house warm while you were radioing.
