Hello, No luck here two weeks in a row now, with 3 Watts ( 6V6/Layafette 6 meter VFO modified for 7 mHz.) output showing. No other QSO's either. It must be a loose connection. I will check it out and be there next week. Some days chicken - some days feathers! Sam Neal N5AF

I gave it a whirl tonight, but there were a couple of strong stations between Dallas and Missouri. Monday night we logged KK4LES into the East Texas QRP net. So anything is possible. We'll connect one of these evenings.

Brings back font memories(not) of growing up in North Dakota back in the early 50's.  40 miles South of the Canadian border and 80 miles East of Montana, little town called Tioga in the Williston Basin oil fields.  Exact same Spring conditions - snow one day, muddy dirt roads the next from around mid March until at least the first week in May.  20 foot snow drifts during the winter, etc.

Do I miss it?  Not even close!
